Olivia Malesku
Olivia Malesku is an emerging leader in the softball coaching community, dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes through her passion, experience, and commitment to excellence. Currently, Olivia served as the Assistant Coach for the Surrey Storm U19A team (2024), a Defense Instructor at Yale Softball Academy (2024-25), and will be coaching at the Langley Secondary Softball Academy in 2025.
Olivia has been actively gaining valuable coaching experience by participating in Junior National Team and Team BC tryouts, where she has worked alongside top coaches and athletes in high-performance environments. In addition to her team roles, Olivia has lead numerous clinics and camps, where she shares her knowledge and love for the game with young, aspiring players.
A former standout player herself, Olivia’s athletic achievements include earning CCC Honorable Mention, Academic All-Canadian honors at UBC and All-Conference Academic recognition in the Cascade Collegiate Conference.

Rawnie Weststrate
Rawnie was the head pitching coach at Yale Softball Academy (2024-25) and will be joining the coaching staff at Langley Secondary Softball Academy in 2025.
In 2019 Rawnie was a member of the Canadian Junior Women's National team. After a successful high school career, Rawnie was recruited to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders before finishing her collegiate career at Colorado Christian University. Her experiences as a high-level athlete have shaped her coaching philosophy, emphasizing skill development, teamwork, and a positive mindset.
Rawnie is passionate about creating an encouraging and high-performance environment for all athletes. She is dedicated to sharing her knowledge, inspiring young players, and helping them achieve their full potential both on and off the field. Rawnie looks forward to continuing her impact on the softball community as a coach and mentor for years to come.
